Library

 

The Library at Mater Dolorosa School is a modern, student-friendly environment equipped with a diversified selection of books, reference and video materials, and is also equipped with a computer with the latest reference software and child-safe internet connection.  Students learn the skills to confidently use the library and its materials, the ability to conduct research through library materials and an appreciation of the library for both enjoyment and research.  A librarian is available to assist students in choosing age appropriate reading materials as well as helping students in obtaining research materials for classroom assignments and/or projects.

 

Fundraising

 

The library runs an annual book fair each year to generate funds to purchase new materials/equipment for the library.  The library also receives individual donations and PTO financial support.
