LUNCH PROGRAM
Mater Dolorosa School contracts with Personal Touch Caterers to provide nutritious and reasonably priced lunches for our children in our cafeteria. Lunches will be served beginning September 1, 2009. Lunch money for the first week of school may be sent in the Friday of that week. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE A FEW IMPORTANT CHANGES TO OUR LUNCH PROGRAM: Your child has many choices each day for hot lunch. Substitute lunches are always available if your child does not like to hot menu item for the day. There is also an A La Carte Lunch Menu available daily which does not have to be preordered but may be purchased on any given day. We hope you and your child will enjoy the new healthy and expanded lunch menu they will be offered this School year. The cost of lunch this year will be $2.50 and milk may also be purchased at a cost of 75¢. Applications for free and reduced lunches will be distributed during the first week of school. Please DO NOT hesitate to apply for free or reduced lunches. All students will be expected to pay full price for lunch until the applications are reviewed. Lunch menus are sent home monthly and are available by clicking the link below. Monthly lunch cards may be purchased for those students purchasing hot lunch every day or a 5-lunch punch card for $10.00 (a savings of $2.50). A form to order monthy lunch cards is attached to the monthly lunch menu. Our link to the June lunch menu is show below to see a sampling of lunch offerings. The September 2010 Lunch Menu will be posted as soon as it is provided to us by the School's lunch provider. PARENTS ARE ADVISED TO INFORM THE TEACHER OF ANY ALLERGIES THEIR CHILD MAY HAVE.
